Funeral Service for Michael J. Rummel, age 45, will be 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd. Eastlake, where family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of service. Interment will be private. Michael was born on July 26, 1971 to Michael W. and Vicky (nee Dudash) Rummel and passed away suddenly on May 11, 2017 after a long battle with depression. Mike proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He was an amazing husband, father, son, and friend; who excelled at his job and coaching many sports. He had a heart bigger than most. Even while he was suffering he put everything and everyone before himself. Mike is the beloved husband of 20 years to Tina M. (nee Starr) Rummel; loving father of Michael, Nathan, and Zachary, Janine (Darren) and Jacque (Matthew); cherished grandfather of Rylan, Liam and Brantley.
